Seyed Mostafa Ale Ali is a researcher and educator specialising in Islamic Studies and Islamic Education. For many years he has been actively engaged in teaching, academic research and international educational initiatives focused on Islamic knowledge, education and interfaith dialogue.
Having grown up in an Islamic educational and cultural environment, he pursued specialised studies in English-language Islamic Studies after completing his general education. In addition to advanced seminary studies, he has completed numerous specialised training programmes in international Islamic outreach, Islam and Christianity, interfaith dialogue, Mahdism, academic writing and religious studies. He has also completed professional courses offered by Harvard University on Religious Literacy and the study of Islam through its sacred texts. His master’s thesis focused on a topic in Islamic education.
A significant part of his academic and teaching experience has taken place in international settings. He has organised and taught specialised courses in Islamic education and Islamic Studies in English across different countries, delivered online courses in the Qur’an, Islamic beliefs, ethics and Islamic teachings for English-speaking Muslims in the United States and the United Kingdom, and participated in various international interfaith conferences and dialogue programmes.
Alongside his teaching, he has contributed to a wide range of scholarly and research projects, including translating and reviewing academic works in Islamic Studies, publishing several book reviews in Religious Studies Review (Rice University, USA), contributing to collaborative publications on Islamic scholarship, and receiving recognition at the Allameh Helli Seminary Research Festival in Qom.
He has spent many years producing educational and Islamic content in English and founded Grow Together, an online educational initiative dedicated to providing authentic, practical and research-informed Islamic education. His primary mission is to support Muslim families in addressing the challenges of modern parenting and to help raise a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, thoughtful and emotionally balanced through authentic Islamic teachings and effective educational methods for healthy and purposeful living.
